Our house is located in Southern France in the region known as the Languedoc-Roussillion, one of the most varried and breathtaking regions in all of France. It borders other regions of Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, Rhône-Alpes, Auvergne, Midi-Pyrénées on the one side, and Spain, Andorra and the Mediterranean sea on the other side.

As you can see, we’re not suggesting that you stay home and relax all the time, because there's lots to see and enjoy, both in the day and at night while in the Languedoc. But staying home is oh so lovely, we have to say, and we wouldn't blame you if you did.

Long ago, wine makers in the Languedoc were only interested in making table wine. That's all changed, and now the Languedoc has some excellent vineyards, and a lots of them. There are many such great vineyards within reach of our village, and wine stores a short drive down the road in nearby Pézenas.
