You can travel most of the way from Barcelona to our private getaway by train. This makes sense if you are in the middle of good novel (or writing one) as the trip from Beziers will take you about 3.75 hours. Of course, you could probably drive directly to the house in Saint-Genies-de-Fontedit in less time (Google puts the distance at 302 km and time at exactly three hours.
