The trip from the Aéroport de Carcasssonne
to our villiage is a road trip of 116 km. Google puts the driving time
at one hour and sixteen minutes. Direct flights to and from Dublin, and
London, and other cities via RyanAir. The train station has over a dozen
trains to Narbonne, and from there to most other cities.

If you have never seen Carcassonne up
close, you need to spend at least a day in the old historic fortified
city, even though it is mainly a conglomeration of gift shops, restaurants,
and hotels.
